I can't believe its hot in SJ. Not to mention how there's
so many fires in Cali. I got to SJ the week before and stayed over at
SF from Thursday to Monday. I visited my cousins, grandmas and went
with the cousins I stayed with to a fireworks picnic for the 4th of
July. It was really nice watching them close up.
We also watched
Wall-E Sunday and it really is a good movie. I enjoyed Wall-E and the
romantic plot. There's way too many movies out that I'm interested in
watching. I'm thinking of watching Hellboy 2 so if anyone wants to
watch tomorrow, just tell me. I'm gonna post a summer guide for movies
I'm interested in watching too.
Note to self- Don't play DS when tired and in bed. | | |

People I kid you not, this film was so cool.
Sure we all might not agree how good it is, but you should at least watch it to
have your own opinions of it.
Non-Spoiler Tips For Survival:
1. If you take a job in Japan, go there right when you accept it.
2. If it doesn't "Holy ****! OMFG!" you now, it will later.
3. Past movie experiences help.
4. Use electronics and battery operated stuff.
5.Get a freakin gun.
And I need to play some more Call of Duty 4 to get out of the "OMFG! This
movie is crazy mode!"
It was so worth it to watch the Midnight Showing.

Well not much to say except things I forgot to write about on the previous update and of the little gaming party.
My
first week of Winter Break consisted of staying at my grandma's house
while waiting to see if I had to go to jury duty. Had to call each day
to find out whether I had to go to the building the next day. Went to
Macy's and had to buy dress shoes, though I've never really done that
before. My call on Thursday told me that I was done, so yea for
spending my time watching cable and I Am Legend.
I
Am Legend was a great film. Liked Will Smith's acting and the ending
was alright though I'm not sure if that was the best way to end it. I
heard of the book/comic and mixed messages of whether they were good or
not. We rented The Kingdom and The Prestige. I really wanted to watch
The Kingdom when it was out in theaters but was never able to watch it.
I liked both movies but mel said the Kingdom was so-so. Then again, she
does have a weird way of saying how movies are good or not. She bases
it on if they are worth getting on DVD which doesn't exactly fly with
me...
I know AVP:R is going to suck and a lot of people mention
it sucks. I want to watch it just to see how bad it sucks but I'm not
going to pay for that. I talked with Ken about Rush Hour 3 and he said
it sucked. Good thing I didn't pay to watch that and I'm a Rush Hour
fan... My uncle and aunt were watching it when we visited on Christmas.
Side-note:
Ken and his FFXI posse left FFXI for WoW. Japanese racists once again
were a turn-off for them. Apparently lots of people either don't like
or play FFXII. People include: Andrew, my sis, Ken, me and others that
I know expressed their disappointment.
Gaming Party was to
start at 3 but the 1st person came at 3:30. Played Smash on N64 which
was kinda hard since it is really different from Melee.
Me: "Whoops I can't air-dash with R Button"
Mel: "Isn't there a Side-B attack?"
Me: "No, there isn't."
Ken: "Use your arrows!"
Me: "Link doesn't have his bow!"
We
had a fun game with 4-players as Donkey Kong and attempting to suicide
fall each other with another player using the grab. Ken won with 0
kills haha.
Next we played Halo 2 Deathmatch with only swords but then it was long since it went up to 25.
Played a little of that Rayman Wii game, and watched Andrew and his friends play some Guitar Hero III.
Went
to Another Century Episode 3 (PS2 action/adventure game with mechas
from various animes like Gundam Wing/Gundam Seed/Macross/Eureka Seven)
Andrew and Ken kept failing on the co-op missions and I barely
remembered what the mission objectives were. Then a little Marvel
Ultimate Alliance.
Finally we talked about Ninja Warrior, animes
and somehow got to Ouendan, Elite Beat Agents and Ouendan 2 for DS.
Both left at 2am... so late haha.
I'm sad that I'll miss
watching the Patriots and Giants game on Saturday. I have to visit my
grandma and our cousins that day for both lunch and dinner at SF. I
want to see the Patriots and local Bay Area boy Tom Brady get the
perfect season record of 16-0.
Lately I've been behind on
following up the anime scene. I'm half-way through Code Geass(I can't
pronounce Geass lol) though it seems really boring to me. I guess my
problem is that I don't care about the characters... The new Macross
series is out and I hope it'll be good though the 1st episode was very
violent. I also need to finish the 1st season of Heroes(should've
remembered what episode I was on), the 3rd season of Supernatural and
watch the 2nd season of Heroes(though I know the beginning is whacked).
I also can't dance. Thanks for the practice and maybe I should try it more often haha. XD | | |

So Christmas has been great though I've only gotten one present other than money.
Christmas Eve my sis and I went to my her friend's family's party. Lots of Vietnamese food.
On
Christmas day, we had a surprising call from our cousins to stay over
for the day. We were supposed to do that the next day but they wanted
to leave a day early for Las Vegas.
Thursday was a visit to a
friend's White Christmas Party. Once again there was lots of food.
Great to meet some people I haven't seen since high school graduation.
Happy people enjoyed the Cheesecake I got, though no one ate the beans.
I accidentally left it at another friend's place >_<... I'm going
to read the book I got though I know a rough version of the story... | | |

So its winter and while it is cold we get 3 weeks of
vacation. Too bad for me I have jury duty and will be in SF at first. I hope I
can get out quickly. I want to watch a lot of films like I Am Legend and
Cloverfield. Heard mixed opinions on I Am Legend and I still haven’t watched
Beowulf… Anyone want to watch?
My new computer is nice but took me awhile to get it to
work. Been using it for 8 days now. It’s a Core 2 Quad, 2 GB RAM, P35
Motherboard with a ATI HD 3850. Looking at a 20” widescreen monitor is kinda
weird haha.
Should spend some time clubbing and drinking… lol
Forgot Niners played today. I’m so disappointed in this
season but omfg the Niners beat Cincinatti Bengals? Wow…
